  • First of all, it should be noted that in a standard house the ceiling height does not exceed 3m, most often 2.7 - 2.8m. With such initial data it is considered that the heating is 10m? on average, 1kW of power should go. By simple calculations, we learn that the boiler power should be at least 10 kW.
  • If we assume that the equipment will operate continuously for a whole month, at full design capacity, then 10 kW must be multiplied by the number of hours in a month. As a result, the final figure of 7200 kW comes out. But from experience we know that equipment does not always work at full one hundred percent power, so 7200 kW can be safely divided in half, it turns out 3600 kW.
  • If we take the average data, the equipment is operated about 7 months a year.. We perform calculations and find out that about 25,200 kW will be spent on the heating season.
  • 0.112 m3 of gas is consumed on average by the boiler for each kW of heat output. Accordingly, for the heating season 25200х0.112 = 2822.4 m3 / year.

To translate the figures in the cash equivalent, in this case it makes no sense, as the price may differ by region.

Important: the result obtained in this case is approximate. After all, we tried to calculate only the costs of gas heating boilers, without taking into account the preparation of food and heating water for domestic needs.

Work on liquefied fuel

The reality is that in cities and nearby communities, gas pipelines are the norm. In the depths of this luxury is less common, so people use for heating liquefied gas.

Despite the fact that the consumption of liquefied gas for heating a house is slightly higher than the main one, it turns out to be more profitable in any case than to heat it with solid fuel or oil products.

Autonomous gas supply can be carried out by connecting several gas cylinders tied in a single system. There is also the option of using a gas tank, it is a special metal or plastic container with a large volume.

Important: gas consumption for heating from cylinders or gas tank is absolutely the same. The difference is only in volume, as a rule, the gas tank is installed on several houses at once.

Indeed, the gas system is currently the most profitable in terms of heating. But do not forget that all these advantages can level ordinary mismanagement. To really save on fuel, it’s not enough to screw up the burner with your own hands, you should perform a number of side events, where the instruction is well known and quite simple.

First of all, it is necessary to warm the dwelling, in practice it is checked and proved that up to a third of heat can be lost through the walls. In some cases, this figure can go up to 50%. If we talk about the most economical way, now it is popular to warm the facade with foam plastic or polystyrene foam, followed by plastering.

Of great importance is the heat capacity of the windows. Modern plastic windows fully meet all the requirements of thermal insulation.

Plus, the price they have at the moment is lower than that of products from natural wood. Here you can also add insulation of doors and arrangement of vestibules.

Heat tends to rise up, so the insulation of the roof is necessarily included in the overall set of activities. The easiest way is to make a kind of sandwich consisting of mineral wool and steam and waterproofing layers.

Pay attention to the material of the heat exchanger and the type of gas burner. The burners of the closed type are considered more economical, plus they use oxygen taken from the street for work.

The boilers of condensation type have proven themselves well, the efficiency of these units can reach 97%. Convector boilers are considered less economical, although they work properly.
