How to install a septic yunilos
Today, almost no country house can do without a septic tank. Such devices allow you to clean all waste water and return them to nature. On the market there are many varieties of such equipment. Each of them has its own specific installation and work. This article will discuss how to install the Yunilos septic tank. You will learn what there are nuances and features.
Preparatory work
Before proceeding with the installation, you should decide on a suitable place. It should take into account some facts:
- The size of the septic tank itself. The designs of the Yunilos series are available in various modifications. Both small in size and performance models (they are designated by numbers from 3 to 15) and more powerful types (models from 20 to 300) are available. Depending on their size and place is selected.
- Remoteness from the house. Installing a septic tank in the farthest corner of the site does not make sense. If the equipment is correctly mounted and connected to the sewerage system, there will be no smell. But to lay a long section of communications (if the septic tank is installed away from the house) will be very expensive. In addition, the longer the communication, the greater the risk of blockages.
- The presence of access roads. The Yunilos septic tank requires periodic pumping of undecomposed residues. Therefore, to consider the possibility of the entrance of an aspenizatorsky machine is simply necessary.
- The absence of near bushes and trees. Their roots can damage containers or sewers.
If the place is chosen, then proceed to digging the pit. Its size will depend on the selected model. If you purchased a compact septic tank Yunilos (model numbering is up to 15), then the pit will be small. It can be easily made manually with a shovel. But for larger models (20 and above) will have to hire special equipment.
Whatever model you choose, the pit should be 20 centimeters more than the desired size. This indent should be left both in depth and on each side. This is necessary for the device pillows under the base and ease of backfilling of the pit after the installation of a septic tank.
Also at the preparatory stage, dig trenches under the pipes. They need to be laid along the shortest path from the sewer exit from the house to the septic tank inlet. A cushion of gravel and sand (not less than 15 cm thick) is laid at the bottom of the trenches, and you should observe a slope in the direction of the septic tank (2 cm per each meter of length).
Tip! At the bottom of the pit it is necessary to arrange a cushion of sand 15–20 cm thick. If the groundwater comes close to the surface, or the ground itself has increased flowability, a concrete slab is placed on the bottom or a screed is made. You can do without such a basis (only one sand pillow) if the septic tank brand Yunilos is under 15.
After the base has been set up, the preparatory work can be considered completed. It is only necessary to lay the electrical cable, as the Yunilos septic tanks need electricity for their work. The cable can be laid in the same trench, previously placed in the corrugation. Now you should go directly to the installation of sewage treatment plants.
Septic installation
The installation of the septic tank begins with the lowering of the tank in the pit. Here, too, everything will depend on the selected model. If a septic tank was numbered from 3 to 15, it can be lowered into the pit manually. This will require efforts from one to four people. But for the installation of more powerful equipment it is necessary to attract special equipment (manipulator or crane).
Tip! After installing in place, you need to check the horizontal position of the septic tank. Only in this case, the manufacturer guarantees the normal operation of the equipment.
Now proceed to the backfilling of the pit. This is done gradually, while filling the tank with water. The height of water in the septic tank should be 15? 20 cm higher than the level of backfill.
Tip! To fill the pit, you can use the soil mixed with sand (without the presence of large stones) or pure sand (at the same time it is necessary to ram it). To soil lay tight, it periodically shed water.
When the septic tank is filled with two thirds, you can begin to connect the pipes sewage, drainage and electricity. This is done according to the attached instructions. Then the septic tank is filled up to the end, with the need to install a viewing hatch. It is mounted above the place of connection of electricity and equipment control panel.
The drainage pipe, which is installed in the upper part of the septic tank, needs warming. From it it is necessary to run communications to the place of discharge of purified water. For these purposes, you can use a drainage well or tank. In the latter case, the purified water can be used for household needs.
