Suburban sewage device

Suburban sewage device consists of internal and external pipeline system and drain hole. To this list, you can also connect such a type of system as a storm sewer. It also performs an important function in the disposal of wastewater. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, but in order we will consider the design and installation of each system separately.

Internal system

The internal system consists of pipes of different diameters with sanitary fittings connected to them. The time of cast iron pipes is a thing of the past, therefore plastic pipes are used for installation of the system. For interior work, gray pipes with a diameter of 110 mm are used for the riser and connecting the toilet bowl, and 50 mm - for laying hoses to sanitary fittings. The hood in the form of a funnel pipe serves as a continuation of the riser and is installed with the same diameter. During the laying of the pipeline it is necessary to maintain a slope of 2 cm per 1 m of pipe. Let's look at the order of work:

1. The first step is to make a plan for the entire system. Count all points of plumbing fixtures, mark the passage of pipes and purchase all materials for work.
2. In places where the pipe passes through a wall or ceiling, a punch must punch a hole in the pipe diameter.
3. In the places of fastening of the pipeline to the wall, install the clamps. For mounting the riser is better to use metal clamps.
4. Installation is performed from the bottom of the basement or foundation.
5. Insert the rubber ring into the bell of the plastic pipe and lubricate it with silicone. Connect the pipes and fasten them to the wall with clamps. Installing the riser, do not forget to put tees in the place of connection of the sleeves that go to the plumbing fixtures. In problem areas where there are turns, install tees with a window for auditing.
6. Stand out from the ridge above the roof ridge 1.5 m and put the fungus on top. If the layout of the house provides for several risers, only bring one outside to the street, and install the valve on the others.
7. Connect to the riser all side sewer hoses.
8. Perform a control drain of water from the top point and inspect all connections. Having completed the tests, isolate the riser with insulating material to avoid unpleasant sounds in the house.

Outdoor system

Installation of the system begins with a plan. Choose the most even path from the exit of the pipe from the house to the drain hole, and make the markup. By marking out the length of the pipeline, and buy all the necessary materials. For exterior work use a pipe of brown color with a diameter of 110 mm. And now proceed to work:

1. On a marking from a drain hole to the house dig a trench. Its depth should be below the freezing ground. If this is not possible, the sewer network will have to be insulated with mineral insulants.
2. Level the bottom of the trench and pour 10 cm thick sand, ram it.
3. Connect the plastic pipe in the same way as described above and lay it at an angle of 2 cm per 1 m of the pipe in the direction of the drain. Laying pipes start from the drain hole to the house.
4. In the place of pipeline turns and connection of sewer hoses from other buildings, install a tee with a window for inspection. To access the revision window, install a well. If the route is very long, then every 10–12 m you install additional wells. They should also include tees with windows revisions.
5. You connect external system to internal, and you do control water discharge. Water should drain into the drain hole, and all connections remain dry.
6. Cover the top of the pipe system with sand, and then with the rest of the earth.

Drain hole

The design of the drain hole plays an important role in the system. It is built from a variety of materials that are available or buy ready-made containers. Concrete rings, iron and plastic barrels, car tires, cinder block, brick, etc. are used for the construction. This list of materials and designs is so long that it requires a review in a separate article. But still, the best option is a sealed pit or septic tank. Their device will prevent pollution of the soil and the environment.

Storm sewer

Storm sewage plays an important role in collecting rain and melt water from the entire site. It consists of drains that collect water from the roof, and drain into a ravine or septic tank along the gutters.

Trays drove around the perimeter of the area near the sidewalk and cover them with a protective grid. You connect drains to trays through a special filter to prevent debris from entering the system. All trays are laid under the same slope as the sewer pipes and connect them to a common drain pan that goes into a ravine or septic tank.
