How to clear the clog in the pipe

It is no secret that blockages are periodically created in the internal sewer pipes. This is mainly the fault of the owners of the housing, who clog the plumbing fixtures with garbage: hair, tea, fatty waste and other household waste. The use of plunger when cleaning clogs

• Then, actively acting on the handle of the plunger, for some time the clogged pipe is pumped through with oscillating movements. When lifting the tool, the edges of the rubber cup should be firmly pressed to the base around the hole. If you can hear the bubbling sounds, then the water has found a way out through the blockage.
• After a few strokes, the plunger is pulled out sharply, which contributes to the active maintenance of water. If necessary, the cleaning procedure with this tool is repeated several times.

If the toilet is clogged, you can use the same plunger, but in order not to soil it with polluted drains, you can try a different method. A toilet litter usually consists of a mixture of toilet paper and excrement. The cable is a steel spring with an end in the form of a spiral. The flexibility of the cable allows the spiral end to reach the blockages, which are located in the pipe at a considerable distance from the drain.

Tip! When removing the blockage with a sanitary cable, the garbage is wound on the spiral end and pulled out of the pipe.

The order of work is as follows:

• A bucket is placed under the sink or sink, the cover is removed from the siphon. If the siphon is clean, then the blockage is in the pipe section.
• Plumbing cable through the siphon is inserted into the pipe and gradually pushed into the depths. When the cable rests against the bend of the pipe, it is necessary, besides pushing it, to also turn it clockwise.
• As you move the tool further, it will surely stumble on a blockage, and, thanks to the rotational movements, the debris will be wound on a spiral.

• After that, the cable must be carefully removed from the pipe and remove any pollution from it.
• It happens that it is not possible to pull out all the contaminants at a time, so the cleaning operation is sometimes repeated again.
• After assembling and installing the siphon, hot water is turned on and the test is performed.
• If a blockage occurs in the pipe under the bathroom, cleaning is sometimes done with a plumbing cable through an overflow hole.

Alternative methods of getting rid of blockages

Since chemical preparations to eliminate blockages negatively affect pipes made of certain materials, evaporate harmful substances, do not always give the desired result and are expensive, you can try to get rid of the blockage using simple household means and simple, but effective methods.

• Three liters of water are brought to the boil, the water is allowed to cool for a short time and then drained into the drain hole. After a quarter of an hour, a plunger is applied.
• At first a glass of ordinary soda is poured into the drain hole, then three times more boiling water is poured. Alkaline liquid should dissolve the blockage. If necessary, the procedure is repeated several times.  
• First, a third of a glass of table soda is poured into the sink, then the same amount of pure vinegar is poured. As a result of a chemical reaction will produce foam, the hole for half an hour, you need to close the stopper. After this time, a liter of boiling water is poured into the pipe. The blockage should resolve.
• If the water flow complicates fatty deposits, a third of a glass of table soda and the same amount of salt is poured into the sewer pipe, and then three liters of boiling water are poured in, and the system is not used for several hours.

A good prevention of soap and fat deposits is the weekly cleaning of pipes with boiling water.
