• In 7 liters of pure water we dissolve 120 grams of gelatin, 120 grams of soap and 300 grams of alum. The resulting solution is heated to boiling, stirring occasionally. Then we immerse the cloth in the heated solution and let it stand for 2-3 hours after which, without unscrewing, we hang out to dry.
• 100 grams of baby soap dissolve in 3 liters of water. The solution is heated to + 50 ° С and soaked in it for half an hour in advance prepared fabric. Next, without drying the fabric, we immerse for half an hour in a 10% solution of potassium alum. At the end of soaking, the fabric, not unscrewing, rinse in cold running water and hang out in the shade to dry.

Important: Each of these methods allows you to make an ordinary woven material waterproof. The water-repellent properties of materials are maintained for several years, after which the treatment will have to be repeated.

Properly prepared cloth is mounted on the frame by lacing. For the manufacture of quick-assembly structures can be provided for the fasteners of adhesive tape.

Manufacturing frame
