Cost of artesian well with a license

First of all, it should be noted that wells can be of a different type and drilling on sand with artesian wells should not be confused. The difference lies in the depth and purity of the aquifer, and it is not only the quality of water that is different here, but also the point of view of the legislation - hence the completely different cost. Below we will look at some aspects of drilling and their legality in order to understand what we need to pay money for, and in addition, see the thematic video in this article.

Note. According to the law of the Russian Federation of February 21, 1992 No. 2395-1 On Subsoil as amended on December 28, 2013, artesian water deposits are considered state property and in connection with this provision, all drilling operations need to be licensed by the relevant authorities.

Obtaining a license

Artesian well drilling
  • The instruction of the RF Law on Subsoil provides for several steps to obtain a license, and the very first of them is the provision of documents of ownership of a land plot or lease agreement for land. Simultaneously with the submission of documents it is necessary to calculate the water consumption per day and for this you can use the table below.
Bathroom name Water flow
Washbasin taps 0.4m3/hour
Bidet 0.4m3/hour
Toilet 0.4m3/hour
Sink taps 0.7m3/hour
Dishwasher 0.7m3/hour
Washing machine 0.7m3/hour
Shower cabin 0.7m3/hour
Hydrant for watering the garden (garden) 0.7m3/hour
Bath 1.1m3/hour

  • Now the most important point that can be a stumbling block in the paperwork is the perimeter of the sanitary zone of the site where the artesian well will be drilled should have 6060 m, without any buildings. In some exceptional cases, Rospotrebnadzor makes concessions and grants permission to obtain a license for a land area of 3030m, relying on paragraph 2.1.4.1110-02 SanPin.
  • Of course, such dimensions of the sanitary zone at the site are not available to everyone, but a way out still exists. For drilling water wells in such cases form a clubhouse, that is, the neighbors organize such a zone between their sites, and the cost of collecting documents and performing work decreases, because you only have to pay part of the amount.
  • Based on these all documents, the Center for State Monitoring of the Subsoil Status (a branch of the Center) issues an opinion on the design of an artesian well. Having received a license in your hands, you can contact any organization engaged in drilling and arranging artesian wells to draw up a contract. But this is not all - after all the work has been completed, the sanitary zone, the well itself and all documentation are checked by the state geological expertise and are registered.

Drilling

Map of the depth of the artesian layers in Moscow and the Moscow region

It is impossible to determine how much an artesian well costs before it is drilled, since the depth at which the aquifer is located can only be determined in the process.

Of course, there are preliminary calculations for a certain area, because there is a map of aquiferous limestones where depths are indicated, but this parameter, unfortunately, is relative enough and can vary in one direction or the other, and this means that with him will change the price of the work.

The process of performing such works can last up to five days, and this factor will be influenced not only by the depth, but also by the characteristics of the soil (its layers). However, most often experienced drillers, who already have practice in the area, predict the timing and cost of all work fairly accurately, so you will not see large discrepancies in the preliminary and final assessment.

It can be said that, on average, collecting documentation, drilling, arranging and designing an artesian well costs about 300,000 rubles, but this, again, is very, very relative.

As you understand, such work cannot be done with your own hands and with a entrenching tool and this requires a whole set of equipment. So that you can see where your money will be spent, we want to show you, using the example of one organization, a set of equipment that is used to perform all the work.

So, for the implementation of transportation (equipment delivery, removal of dump rocks), three ZIL-131 type trucks are used. Drilling rigs based on KAMAZ (possibly also based on MAZ or ZIL), truck kung and drilling water tanker (cistern).

In addition, you need to provide yourself or agree on the conduct of such work by the company, 124m platform for drilling. Access roads for special equipment not less than 3m wide and, of course, a source of 220V power supply with a capacity of up to 2 kW (for this, an autonomous diesel power station is quite suitable).

Note. We should not forget that the drilled artesian well is not an autonomous water supply for your home. The separate works at a separate cost include the installation and connection of a submersible pump, the arrangement of the caisson (pit) or adapter, as well as the supply line to the water distribution.

The use of a powerful downhole pump allows you to equip the water-folding unit for several houses in order to provide an autonomous round-the-clock water supply to each of them.

Conclusion

Artesian waters, being deeper than all aquifers, do not depend on precipitation and other groundwater, since they are located between two waterproof layers. But, nevertheless, you will have to equip a filter (this is also included in the cost of the arrangement), since such deposits are rich in manganese and iron, the excess of which is harmful to the body.
