    Bitumen-gasoline solution and pasting sealing

    Prepare materials:

    • wooden spatula;
    • cement gun or compressor with a spray nozzle;
    • petrol;
    • bitumen;
    • mastic.

    Sealing wells in this way is carried out in 3 layers:

    1. The mixture for the first layer consists of one part bitumen and four parts gasoline.

    Sealing rubber and other materials

    1. In this case, RubberElast rubber sealing tape is used. This method of sealing the seams of concrete rings is considered the easiest. One strip of tape reduces the seam width to 7 mm.

    How to seal concrete sewer wells

    Purchase the following materials:

    • sealant for well rings "Peneplag";
    • waterproofing compound "Penekrit";
    • mix for waterproofing "Penetron".

    Prepare the tools:

    • Master OK;
    • jackhammer or perforator;
    • brush for applying material;
    • grinder with a diamond disc;
    • plastic container;
    • brush-wit for metal;
    • measuring capacity;
    • water spray.

    Preparing the surface of concrete rings:

    1. Punch off the old concrete.
    2. Use a metal brush to level the surface and clean it from old cement, dust and old paint. Thus, you remove everything that may interfere with the penetration of waterproofing.
    3. Make strokes 25x25 mm in size along the entire length of the seams, communications and cracks and brush them off with a metal brush.

    Prepare sealing solutions:

    1. Make small indentations in all places of leaks identified in sewer manholes, then fill them with Peneplag sealant. It should be diluted in the ratio of 1 kg of sealant to 150 ml of water and mix thoroughly. The solution should be filled half the previously made indentations. The next layer is laid after the first has set.
    2. After that, a solution of "Penetron" in the ratio of 1 kg of the mixture is diluted in 400 ml of water.. Take a brush and handle leaks.
    Using Penetron
    1. At the last stage, the cracks are sealed with Penekrit, dilute 1 kg of the composition in 180 ml of water, as required by the instructions.. Moisten the surface and fill the solution with any remaining leakage. During work, do not rush, wait until the first layer grabs. Moisten the leak again and seal it with a second coat. The drying time of the material is about 3 days. During this period, make sure that the well is not subjected to mechanical damage, as well as moisturize its surface with a spray to avoid cracking.

    Tip: cover the well with a film, so you eliminate the rapid evaporation of water.
