Next comes the most important. We need to connect the pump to the network and at the same time make it so that it is turned on when necessary. If you remember, at the beginning of the story, we mentioned that in any typewriter there is an electromagnetic valve that opens when the tank is filled.

This valve operates on 220V mains and is in the open position only when the operating voltage is applied to it. For us, this is the perfect option. It is necessary to remove the top cover on the machine and in parallel to connect the pump to the solenoid valve.

This can be done directly at the terminals of the valve or track where the wire goes, as a rule, it is in the lower part of the body and paralyze the valve and the pump on the terminal block.

As a result, we get a washing machine does not require connection to the water supply. At that moment, when you need to fill the tank, automation gives the command to apply voltage to open the valve.
