Conventionally, the process of creating an autonomous water supply system with the help of a well is divided into external and internal works. At the first stage, a trench is first dug from the well to the residential building. Its depth is selected depending on the rate of soil freezing.

After that in it pipes and a cable are placed. If its length is not enough, the cable can be extended. In this case, special attention should be paid to the isolation of the joints.

Next, a hole is made in the concrete ring of the source. If it turns out to be too large, you should not worry, since in the future it can be poured with a solution.

After that, it will be necessary to lower the pipe (or rigid hose) through the hole made into the well, on which you need to pre-fix the submersible pump and non-return valve. At its end, which falls into the source, a filter in the form of a grid (coarse cleaning) is necessarily installed.

The end of the pipe should rise 40-50 cm above the bottom of the well. It can be fixed with the help of the pin installed at the bottom.

Then the hole is sealed, the trench is buried, and around the well, departing from it a distance of just over 1 m, a clay “castle” is created. It will prevent groundwater or rainwater from entering the well.

Note! PVC pipes used in this case is preferable. Their advantage over the metal material is that they are not susceptible to corrosion, if the water freezes, you can not be afraid that they will crack, their connection is much easier and faster. And their service life is much longer.

The choice of the method of connecting the pipes will directly depend on what they are made of. If it is a metal material, then the docking takes place by welding, and if it is PVC pipe, then they can be connected with fittings and flanges or by heating with a special apparatus.

Note! When laying a pipeline for such a water supply system, it is required to make a good thermal insulation. For these purposes, either a heating cable is used, or the pipes are protected with a special material.

Also, when creating an independent water supply, a pumping station can be used instead of a submersible pump. In this case, the check valve can be installed either at the station before entering the pump itself, or at the end of the pipe, dipped into water (see the diagram below).

Next comes the connection of the cable to the pump, as well as, in accordance with the scheme, the other devices are installed (pressure gauge, relay, fine filter, watering tap, etc.).
